Magnetic Chucks are used widely in manufacturing to secure ferrous metal during the manufacturing process. The Magnetic Strength dictates how the metal is secured firmly and safely, and the new Magnetic Chucks from e-Magnets UK have 20% more holding force that the industry standard.
The new Magnetic Chucks use Rare Earth Neodymium Magnet Technology to produce a strong, permanent and consistent magnetic field. The magnetic systems are used when Milling, Turning and Grinding metal and also for other work holding or inspection clamping operations.
The new Magnetic Chucks from e-Magnets UK have a number of advantages over standard holding methods including:
- Minimal clamping time needed between metal component change;
- Faster feed rates coupled with higher materials removal than standard magnetic chucks;
- Excellent access allowing up to 5 face machining;

Magnetic Chuck Specifications
The Magnetic Chucks are available in a wide range of shapes and sizes. Circular Magnetic Chucks area available with a diameter of 125mm up to 250mm. The smallest Square Magnetic Chuck is 175mm x 100mm extending up to the largest at 600mm x 300mm.
The thickness of the metal being held or handled dictates whether the Magnetic Pole Pitch is Standard or Fine.
